With an initiative to solve the problem of unemployment in Province 2, सीप Challenge Fund Program in collaboration with UKaid and State Government of Nepal collaborated with 6 private sectors. It aims for a transformational partnership with and between the Nepali Private Sector and the Government of Nepal to propel growth in selected priority sectors through expanded access to quality skills training, employment, and productive investments.
In the event at Janakpur, we discussed our work plan about cloud computing and the necessity of skilled-based training among aspiring graduate students to bridge the void between academia and industry. A brief introduction session about cloud computing was also conducted making aware of its global impact and how the students, as well as the aspiring migrants, can work overseas with such skilled based training. We aim to train teachers in academia, regarding cloud computing education which enables a huge set of students to be trained at once. The goal set is to train at least 4000 students and make them job-ready by 2023. We intend to engage and build partnerships with academia, the most popular Cloud Service Providers, and with various IT-based and IT-enabled companies, providing the required tools. We also aspire to encourage women in IT, promote entrepreneurship and start-up culture, while maintaining the industry standard in providing the education and certification to the students.
The local and provincial government has promised to facilitate the project with as much help as they can provide for the successful completion of the project. The chief minister of the province, Dr. Lalbabu Raut, assured us to provide any kind of support needed from the Provincial Government for the speedy execution of the project in the province. The local government is ready to be a helping hand and collaborative during the execution of the project and for its successful project tenure.
To accelerate the pace of the project, Genese Cloud Academy has already set up a team in Birgunj with office space to facilitate training for graduating students letting them choose their desired area of career interest and pursue their career with hands-on skill training. Birgunj being an economic hub is believed to attract a lot of talent and training them would certainly be an edge over for their wonderful future and career prospects.
